Hi, my name is Agra and I play a Survival and/or Marksman Hunter on Earthen Ring (EU). I started this blog just as an outlet for my own rants, thoughts and just general forum for my writings about WoW. There may be no updates for weeks or there may be update every 30 minutes - it's all about whether I feel like writing and whether I have something to write about. Like I already mentioned, this blog is for ME and whether someone else happens to enjoy reading it, go for it. Most likely that's not the case though, but bear with me.
So, Wrath of the Lich King has now been out for ages and has progressed into third tier of the expansion, Tier-9. Crusader's Coliseum is the latest raid instance giving the highest ILVL loot at the moment - our raid force is farming the normal modes and with only two lockouts of progressing through the 25-man heroic version of the instance, we have Northreand Beasts down. We're having a bit of trouble with Jaraxxus currently, but yesterday's raid included good progression and it's just a matter of execution. We'll get him this week!
Also, we have completed several Glory of the Ulduar 10-man drakes (this is the first raid instance achievement 310% mount for me!) and after we finally downed Firefighter two weeks ago, few lucky people are now flying with their personal Veranus aka Razorscale, aka Iron-bound Proto-drake! I'm still missing Knock x 3, Smell of Saronite and One Light from the 25-man Glory of the Ulduar, remains to be seen whether I'll be able to complete it.
Our focus as a raid force is currently farming Coliseum week in week out on normal mode and then trying to progress in heroic mode - we also try to put up together two voluntary 10-man groups on weekly basis for doing even more farming and hardmodes as well. We are focusing one raid night (we raid 3 times a week, 4 hours a day) currently for completing some of the Ulduar metas to get even more people with their drakes. Oh, and now that 3.2.2 hit the servers, we'll be farming Onyxia as well I guess.
Things are good and Boy Racers is such an amazing raid force. The amount of effort, dedication and skill every player brings to a raid is just amazing... we have claimed several server firsts and have been pretty much the most progressed bunch of raiders on our realm. The atmosphere of Boy Racers is also amazing. We aren't a hard-core raiding group, we are casual raiding group with hard-core attitude and we're always pushing for the most challenging content. I truly love the group.
Anyway, that's the first post out of the way and to start sticking to the theme for the get-go, it's an useless "this is how I feel" post and probably offers nothing to anyone except me, as a historical reference to look back when years have passed! :-D
